VYPR Corp ("VYPR", "we", "us") is a player organisation operating within the Star Citizen universe. This policy covers the websites and services operated under the vyprcorp.com domain, including the main site, Service Portal, and Store & Logistics platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate our services:
- Discord identity — When you authenticate via Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar. This is used solely to verify your identity and link your session to any service requests or member records.
- Service request data — Information you voluntarily submit when placing a service request through the portal (e.g. in-game handle, location, cargo details).
- Usage data — Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for security and diagnostic purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to operate and improve VYPR services — fulfilling requests, managing member access, and communicating status updates. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except where required by law or to operate core services (e.g. authentication via Discord).
4. Data Retention
Service request records are retained for operational continuity. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us via Discord. Upon verified request, we will remove your personal information from our systems within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Third-Party Services
Our platforms integrate with Discord for authentication. Use of Discord is subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy. We also reference Roberts Space Industries (RSI) in-game identity for service coordination; RSI data is governed by their privacy policy.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication purposes only. No tracking or advertising cookies are used on VYPR platforms.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect information stored on our systems. However, no method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server. Continued use of VYPR services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
